50th Anniversary Salute to

ASPIRA, the nation’s largest Latino nonprofit organization and the only one dedicated exclusively to the education of Latino youth, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on May 19, 2011, in New York City with a Salute to this organization’s achievements and the leaders who have made a difference in our communities.

For half a century, ASPIRA has been at the forefront of providing educational opportunities to Latino youth. Over half a million young Latinos and Latinas have benefited from our youth development, guidance counseling and mentoring programs

It is appropriate that ASPIRA celebrate our 50th anniversary in New York City, where Dr. Antonia Pantoja, a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, founded the organization in 1961. At the event, we will be honoring those who have had a significant impact in the Latino community and on ASPIRA, as well the successes of 50 Latinas from across the country.

Please join us at our 50th Anniversary Salute to ASPIRA. If you have any questions please call us at (212) 564-6880 ext. 8108.
